A friend of mine recently did a post taking a picture and chronically hour by hour a day in the life of her family. She suggested I do the same.
Unfortunately, we were off to a bad start.
We woke up and I forgot to take a picture, so here is one from the day before when we were watching The Incredibles before breakfast (In honor of the superheroes in the house)…
At 8:00AM I got the boys dressed and they wanted to wear their “Ethiopia shirts” which is fine, but they want to wear them every day and I would like to wash them occasionally.
9:00AM we parked and went into Starbucks. We also fought some crime
9:30 we attempted to walk to our spot we like to eat breakfast, but the sidewalk was closed because they were filming (Pretty Woman II, perhaps š …) So we went back to the car:
10:00 we came back to our car with our bounty:
11:00 We made it to the park and played dinosaurs.
12:00 we’re still at the park playing dinosaurs ..RAWR
1:00 we make it home for lunch:
2:00PM – some VERY sleepy boys need a nap:
3:00PM They are up and ready for action! Samuel and Aram are making up a game in this photo:A few moments lady Aram threw a toy train at his brother’s head. Samuel is quickly calmed down by the idea of getting the special ice pack, and off to playing they go:
4:00PM we do some schoolwork with their preschool workbooks:
5:30PM Daddy is home! Aram tries to jump in his boots, but is quickly pulled out because there is lead debris all over them. Aram has a fit, but calms down when Brian showed him his giant gash on his head from his shotgun.
6:00 The boys help with a quick load of laundry:
7:30 The boys brush their teeth and admire their work:
8:30PM They start dropping like flies:
9:00PM spoke too soon. Aram is up and wants water. He gets spills on his pjs and needs to be changed.
9:10 Brian is up and starts cleaning his wmd and Aram will not sleep until he gets a peak.
wow! this is a great idea! one day, when my life will be more interesting than now (I’m just sitting on my bed with school books these days :P) I will make a post like this too! š
I love all the photos! and it sure looks like you had busy day – you need to do posts like this more often! š
Love the hour by hour. Loving Samuel’s locs and think it’s great how the boys play together. Bet Mama is tired by bathtime!
Thanks Megan! And thanks for the idea!
Are your kids possibly going to be sporting some lockies (that is what the boys call them) in the future?
